On December 10th, 2013, Christmas Academy students and lecturers of Slavic languages was held in Bratislava, at the Faculty of Philosophy of Comenius University. Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Slovakia was the sponsor of the event. Ambassador Šani Dermaku, together with the Head of the Department of Slavic philology Ph.D. Maria Dobrikova, opened event, pointing out the importance of the Serbian language and the closeness of the Slavic languages as a way for better mutual understanding and improving relations between the Slavic nations.
