Ambassador Šani Dermaku visited the Serbian war memorial in Velky Meder on November 11th, 2013, where he laid a wreath to mark the anniversary of Armistice Day in World War I and honor the fallen Serbian soldiers. The ceremony was also attended by Mayor of Velky Meder, Alexander Neveri, who also laid a wreath, and representatives of the Association of Serbs in Slovakia, Stane Ribič and Rastislav Popović.
